About the scholarship
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our research team in the field of sustainable, low-carbon concrete. The PhD position is funded through the Building 4.0 CRC (https://building4pointzero.org/round-3-scholarship-call-now-open/). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and conducting cutting-edge research in the area of sustainable, low-carbon concrete materials, with a focus on developing new technologies and techniques that can reduce the environmental footprint of concrete production and usage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting independent research on sustainable, low-carbon concrete materials and technologies
- Developing new methods and techniques for reducing the environmental impact of concrete production and usage
- Collaborating with other researchers and industry partners to advance the state of the art in sustainable, low-carbon concrete
- Presenting research results at conferences and in peer-reviewed publications
Qualifications:
- A master's degree in civil engineering, construction materials, materials science, or a related field
- Strong background in concrete technology and sustainable materials
- Experience in conducting research and publishing in peer-reviewed journals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The position is full-time and includes a full tuition fee scholarship and stipend, and opportunities for professional development. The position is available immediately and will remain open until filled.
