This research is to work with the Digital Manufacturing on a Shoestring Alliane, to advance low cost IoT monitoring solutions for digital manufacturing.  Here we focus not on monitoring for asset utilization or machine health monitoring, but rather to track parts through production and recording process fabrication data of the equipment.  This includes developing IoT process monitoring nodes for a variety of equipment, IoT cloud services to configure and monitor nodes across a facility, and cloud based data storage for process statistical analysis and control.
