Brain Machine Interfaces (BMI) offer hope of regaining some control in severely paralysed people. However, a major draw back in present day BMIs is the long term usability of the interfaces is the level of tissue response to the implanted devices. This project aims to use micromachining technologies to develop a fully wireless brain machine interface that will result in minimal effect on the brain.
