This project aims to advance the theory of optimisation. Several approaches will be taken. The first is to continue developing the theory of Optimisation Geometry, which relates the complexity of the optimisation problem to the geometry of the class of cost functions considered as a whole. Another approach is to draw connections between discrete and continuous optimisation problems.
