Keywords: signal processing; signals and systems; sleep apnoea; systems neuroscience; systems theory
Disciplines: Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Research Centre: Nonlinear Signal Processing Lab

This project aims for a mathematical understanding of the workings of the breathing complex in mammals, including humans. The breathing complex is a relatively small neuronal network with well-defined inputs and outputs, making it a natural target for study.
